Maedhros stood with his hands on his hips, and his face wore a scowl as his eyes bore down on Amrod and Amras.
“Great was this sword of mine,” he said. “Forged and gifted to me by my father. Where have you hid it? Tell me and I may spare you!”
“We told you, it was not hid!” Amrod said.
“We were offered all the gold of Valinor for it,” Amras added.
“I don’t buy that.”
“You wouldn’t, but he did.” And the twins pointed to the golden-haired thief as he ran off with the great sword of Maedhros.
