If you feel it doesn't make for a strong enough ending--although the Fall of the  Lamps is quite climactic in its way--you could always write another drabble to conclude. There are plenty of possible interlocutors--Namo, for example--although you could also break the pattern and do something quite different.

I can't quite put my finger on what I don't like about that drabble ending the series.  I think it's something to do with Melkor's very personal grudge with Varda as expressed in his words, the scope seems too narrow to finish up on.

Though I rarely add to them after the challenges are finished.  The one time I did try, it resulted in an angsty ficlet.  (OMG I hadn't thought of Námo...!)
