The Doom of Men by Erurainon

Chapter 1

Into the silence I am wading,
Out from the senseless world,
Beyond the circles where light takes me,
Bound in banners yet unfurled.
I think I see the valley,
Clad in green and grey,
And starlight over chanted shore,
Where peace doth mark my way.
A lady kneels there in the serf,
Dressed in blue and white,
And where she sings I follow fast,
Daring strands of night.
Who hath called her from the dawn,
Where voices gladly dwell?
To what place am I bound,
No soul can rightly tell.
