Death At the Havens

Read Death At the Havens

Into madness,
You are dreaming,
In those dark eyes.
Fires burning,
Casting shadows,
On the skyline.
Ships in harbor,
Tackled firmly,
With their white sails.
Drown in smoke-Rings,
And dead faces,
Tinged in terror.
I’ll wait in this place,
To the cry of the harp.
I’ll die in this place,
Till the long night engulf me.
You said no chains could cage you,
Born of kingdom.
I said nothing,
Feigning little,
Foreboding everything.
Now black waters,
Flushed with foam here,
By the sea-side,
Drink my sweet blood,
From the gashes,
Hate renewed.
