Al, I really like your revisions to this - greatly enjoyed reading this final product. It's so refreshing to read about Fingolfin and his family, for a change, and I think you've done a good job of presenting the arguments from their side. Even Finwe is almost sympathetic here. Your depictions of what happened right after "the event" make a lot of sense to me and I'm impressed with how you dealt with the various threads that tangling the web that was Tirion in those tense days.
