O Sing! by Lferion

O Sing!

Oh, sing a song of iron, obdurate and strong
Of carbon making steel, enchained in crystal long
Wrought or poured or forgéd, shaped by ringing song
Iron ne'er not iron, rightly used or wrong.

Oh sing a song of Speakers, joy in chorus raised
Counterpoint and melody, on starry reaches gazed
Harmony and rhythm expressing hearts amazed
Words came after Music, creation to be praised

Oh sing a song of Making, of lamps and pillars bright
Of stars and stones and vessels, shaped from fulgent light
Feär seeking hroär, form enfolding might
The houseless now re-housed, beloved in our sight
