Quick-silver child
Read Quick-silver child
I watch him
this beautiful child
of quicksilver wit
and dark tempers
and I tell him tales
long and sad
heroic and rousing
in the hope to temper his wisdom
to still his tempers
or, in this world,
his light will soon be snuffed.
