This is not a succession I have given much thought before, but you made it very interesting! I sometimes complain about Noldorin male chauvinism, but choosing Finarfin due to his connection to the Teleri and the need to repair the relationship there is a more tolerable rationale for his kingship. Still, he is fortunate that Findis is so gracious about it. I love when he has his "aha" moment comparing Findis' response to Artanis' decision to leave. I also really liked "another case of trying to interpret Eru’s obscure thoughts. I’m sure that the Music wasn’t meant to go into this much detail". Lol. I agree.
