Darker than starfall,
Soft as a kittens fur,
Such wonder your hair is my little,
Jewel of my heartEyes lit by starlight,
Bottomless and deep,
Know that one day men will drown in them
As I am drowning now.I can see years passing,
Centuries flying by,
As you learn to dance among the trees
On quick as lightning feet.What will time bring you
Endless joy, deepest grief?
Whatever come this forest will guard you.
