Imladris Lost

Read Imladris Lost

I slowly walk through empty halls and ruins
where once the music echoed through the night,
a long forgotten heart of lore and healing
but now the land lie silent in the light.

The waterfalls still tumble through the valley,
the river sings a song that no one hears,
a scent of peaceful days and love still lingers
yet wooden beams lie rotted in the sun

It was a haven for the lost, the weary,
a tiny piece of land that time forgot.
The last has left and sailed far from this valley
no other steps than mine, recall the way.

Chapter End Notes

The oldest record i have of the start of this goes back to 2008 and i cant even remember all the times i have returned to it, loving the rythm of the words, Opened it again today and the suddenly tumbling words fell naturally into the rythm. I love when that happens. :)
