I slowly walk through empty halls and ruins
where once the music echoed through the night,
a long forgotten heart of lore and healing
but now the land lie silent in the light.The waterfalls still tumble through the valley,
the river sings a song that no one hears,
a scent of peaceful days and love still lingers
yet wooden beams lie rotted in the sunIt was a haven for the lost, the weary,
a tiny piece of land that time forgot.
The last has left and sailed far from this valley
no other steps than mine, recall the way.

The oldest record i have of the start of this goes back to 2008 and i cant even remember all the times i have returned to it, loving the rythm of the words, Opened it again today and the suddenly tumbling words fell naturally into the rythm. I love when that happens. :)
