Team Storytelling

One of our challenges this month is to produce a fanwork in collaboration with others. Teams may consist of 2-5 people. (We will help you find a team if you want to participate but don’t have a team to work with! Fill out the registration form and check the box that you need help finding a team. If you're on our Discord, you can also use the #team-storytelling channel to connect with potential teammates.) Here’s how it will work:
- Teams must register by Sunday, April 26, to participate.
- On Monday, April 27, your team will receive four "ingredients" to include in your fanwork. While you and your team can discuss and plan your fanwork ahead of time, you should not start making it until you receive your ingredients.
- Don’t let the "storytelling" in the title fool you. You can make any kind of Tolkien-based fanwork you want!
- All team members should be involved in some way, but you can divide responsibilities and collaborate however you want.
- Sunday, May 3, will be the reveal party. We will share and read aloud our fanworks on the SWG’s Discord server. Your team can still participate even if you don’t want to attend the reveal party. (If your only misgiving is that you don’t want to or can’t read your fanwork aloud, we will find a reader for you!)
