Want to do something kind for your fellow fans? Each Wednesday is Wishlist Wednesday--a day we encourage you to work on making someone’s wish come true! (Remember, however, you can work on any prompt any day. If you want to fill a wish on a non-Wednesday, go for it!)
Anyone can submit up to three wishes. While we encourage you to also try to fill wishes for other people, you are not required to fill a wish in order to submit wishes. In addition, this is not a ficswap. While we hope that everyone who submits wishes has at least one wish filled, we cannot guarantee that your wishes will be filled, even if you fill wishes for others.
What can you wish for? Anything related to Tolkien fandom and fanworks! Would you love a sketch of one of your OCs? A story about your favorite pairing? Comments on your fanworks? A playlist or rec list for your favorite character?
Please include what you want or enjoy (versus what you don’t want or don’t enjoy). Keep your wish to three sentences or less. Do include squicks, phobias, and triggers (except as related to NSFW content; see “Filling a Wish” below). Don’t forget links if your wish requires a response to a fanwork.
If you want people who fill your wish to contact you directly, you can include social media where they can PM/DM you. Otherwise, the mods will let you know by email when a wish has been filled.
Fanworks should be rated no higher than Teens (see our ratings guide) and contain no NSFW/adult content unless the wish specifies that is what the person wants to receive. Do not include kinks that are not included in the wish.
You can contact the person who made the wish directly if you want to do so to let them know you’ve filled their wish. Regardless, please contact the mods when you’ve filled a wish> so that 1) we can ensure the person knows and 2) we can award you your stamp for this challenge!
