I read this story ages ago. So glad you decided to post it here. I consider it a classic. There were others I recall as well. Did you write a modern AU about a bookstore? Something in it about how Tolkien only wrote the tragic parts of their story? I hope I am not misremembering.  (I can't remember the name you used or the archive. I have to see which stories you've posted here and then twist your arm to post the rest.)

When I started writing Maedhros/Fingon about three years ago, a number of people told me the best had all been written years earlier. That there was no more to say. There is always room for more Maedhros and Fingon! I read them all also! I remember being mildly annoyed that they would think I would not have!
