Thanks! I was heavily influenced by the song "One Day" when I wrote it, and it showed particularly in those two lines, actually. The gists of the song and the story were so similar that it was eerie to read it when I reread it while listening to the song... Thank you for taking time and effort to tell me what you thought of this piece! I highly appreciate it. Rey

I really liked this a lot, wind rider.  It's difficult to convey powerful emotion and character into such a short piece, but you have succeeded here.

Your opening line is excellent, and the prose of the triple drabble reads like free-form poetry.  Not to mention the fact that you've taken an obscure character from the legendarium and have brought him to life, if only for the moments before he meets his death.

Thank you so for the generous compliments! I don't know if this piece truly deserves such a high regard, but thank you so nonetheless. Praise from an excellant author like you is both an honour and a burden to bear. But regardless, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for taking time and effort to review! Rey

It would take a lot of faith to believe in that day at that moment. But I can well believe that among those staunch followers of Barahir there would be one who still managed to do so, especially if he were young.

Well told!
