This is a lovely story, Jenni! Lovely with a touch of sadness and foreboding, of course (it is the Quenta Silmarillion!) I like especially the parallels you've set up between the Noldor in their past and what the Edain are experiencing now: the lies of Melkor and the desire to discover something bigger than what they have. However, contrasted with that is their experiences and impressions of the West.

Also, Bregor is adorable. I think this is the first story I've read with him in it.
