A powerful meditation on the contrast between immortal Ainur and humanity; with Sauron trapped among the latter but yearning for his former, very different life, even though he forsook it.  I like the image of him singing; songs are not always associated with Sauron, but he was definitely a song-master.

This is an intriguing moment of Feanorian reasoning:
