Terribly short, but despite starting at least five different things for this challenge, this is the only one I feel might decently be considered finished.

This is very well done. I like Celeborn's voice a lot!

I also really loved the part about Celebrian talking about how languages define a people and their attitudes. I was continually shocked when living in Mexico how much vocabulary and how many expressions that I used used in English and could not be translated into Spanish. The attitudes or interests they reflected simply did not exist in the other language.

I also went nuts at times knowing how a Spanish expression was used, but struggling for what it actually meant or how it came into existence--Medieval history of Spain or Arabic was sometimes useful. I read The Silmarillion first after living in Mexico and I was livid with Thingol when I read about his language ban! How dare he! Nevermind that tangent. I could go on all night about that!

So, yes, it is a lovely story and holds a lot of content within a few words and provokes a lot of thought.
