I seek answer

I have sailed
through storms
against the winds
to come here
led by the light
that is my wife.
I have come
to seek answer for your sins.
You, my lord, would make us sinners
yet we are the ones
fighting against the shadow
from our birth to our death
man and elf
side by side
a fight we cannot win.
You sit here
in your sacred lands
far from suffering
far from defeat
never seeing the scars
on the earth
on the living
and on the dead.
I seek answer
on how we can be held responsible
for the oaths a few made
how we can be made to bleed
and that to be called righteous
when your brother
do the wounding
when you hide your faces
from what must be done.
So I call on you now
to take arms
fr those you still call children
for those born and yet unborn
I call upon you NOW
to end your brother
and his cursed hold
over this world.
