Founded in 2005, the Silmarillion Writers' Guild exists for discussions of and creative fanworks based on J.R.R. Tolkien's The Silmarillion and related texts. We are a positive-focused and open-minded space that welcomes fans from all over the world and with all levels of experience with Tolkien's works. Thank you! This was one of my earliest stories. I posted it here while working to archive my older stuff that I hadn't viewed as good enough to archive yet. I backdated it to make it hard to find, but I guess the Random Story generator foiled me there! :D I'm glad you found it and had some fun with it. :)
OMG! Thank you! :D This was in the group of stories that I archived a couple of summers ago for the Season of Writing Dangerously challenge, in an attempt to get all of my Silmfic on the site. That whole group of stories has a pallor of mortification to me because they are SO OLD and were written to fulfill about a dozen holiday fic requests over the course of a heady few weeks. I maybe need to revisit this one! A little less mortification is a good thing. :)
