About Me

I am a semi-retired professional geologist, licensed to practice in Nebraska and Wyoming. I have been an avid fan of J.R.R. Tolkien and the LoTR since I first read the LoTR while in college, way back in 1970. For my 27th birthday, my wife gave me a copy of the original Silmarillion, that I lovingly maintain today. I am currently at work on a series of essays about the LoTR and the Legendarium, and am always happy to look at new material - both factual and fan-fiction - regarding the corpus of Tolkien's work.
