I first read the Lord of the Rings at a young age (my memory fails me a little in terms of specifics, but I put it around nine years) and followed with the Silmarillion a couple of years later.
Since, I have spent countless hours immersing myself in what lore I could find, including essays, varied analysis and primary source material.
That's pretty much all for now, I'll return to add more at a later date.
