About Me

Hello!

I’m Spark, and I’ve been a Tolkein fan since I was 8 years old and first picked up the Hobbit back in 2001 (my mom wouldn’t take me to see the Fellowship if the Ring until after I’d read the books). I first read the Silmarillion when I was in 5th grade and I was really confused until I realized that it was a history book as opposed to a story book. As soon as I shifted perspective, it made sense.

I come from a family of musicians, so the idea of a world that was sung into being really fascinates me.
