This was meant to be a nice fluffy Uinen/Tar-Míriel piece for the Block Party's "Rare Pair Care" prompt, inspired by Legendarium Ladies April's gorgeous "With the Tide" picture prompt, but instead it turned into a sad story about unresolved grief that needs to be resolved first. It's the very beginning of their relationship, I guess. Not the story I wanted to write, but the story I ended up writing.
