The Song of the Seafarer by Erurainon

To be honest the lay was first used for my Annals of the Quenta-Atanni which are my lays of the Fourth Age. But later it was revised and shortened to the form you find it in here so that it applies to Tuor. Yet I like to recall its first origens and while it is tied to the sea I find that you are right in that it is mostly conserned with the Sea-Longing itself as a whole.
