Reference:
”2911: The Fell Winter. The Baranduin and other rivers are frozen. White Wolves invade Eriador from the North.” – The Return of the King: Tales of Years.

Notes:
In Rey-verse, Erestor was a citizen of Gondolin once, the son of Ecthelion of the Fountain, and he was rather close to Glorfindel as a result. In this story, he might look a little OOC, but please bare in mind a few aspects that could make him that way. Glorfindel was also older here, older even than Turgon, and he did not owe allegiance to either Turgon or (currently) Elrond despite everything – for a reason that the author sadly cannot disclose here for lack of place and event.
As the author was born and lives in a tropical region and never read anything about thundersnow, she is fumbling in the dark here and would like to apologise to her readers about the quality of the story.
In Lores and Customs of the Eldar, cooking is a man’s task while making bread is a woman’s area. But here the author purposefully make a woman a cook for a few reasons, one of which will be told in the story.
