I think that's maybe one of the cruellest of Eru's ideas, smooshing Elves and Men together in life but separating them for the lifespan of Arda. I like to think that A&A just decided enough of that, we're going hroäless into the cosmos!

Yes, those lines are so impactful!

As it is depicting something almost unimaginable (but oh, how we want it to happen), too much worked-out detail might weigh it down too much, perhaps...

(I have a habit of thinking something I've made is Notenough, when so often the trick is noticing that simple or less is so much more inpactful (Like a certain fave author does so well!))
