The Great Journey

Painting of a dark star-filled sky with a long line of figures walking over shining blue hills into the distance

Chapter End Notes

Yes yes,, I know, there can never be too much sparklys. Still, there's a lot. Fortunately the camera didn't pick it all up.

Under layer is Diamine Nightfall and Blizzard inks (both of which has shimmer), stars and hills are pearlescent pigment, Elves in ink brush pen.

I think the early Elves might see even more sparkle than we do (especially with no light pollution at all). Loved this when I saw it on Discord, and now I see it better, it is even more beautiful.

.Awww, thank you!

I really like the idea that their vision was very different, and sparklier! I've played with both infra red and ultra violet sensitive camera film, where you can capture the markings some flowers have that are only visible to someinsects and birds, and I imagine Elves experience a similar extension to their sight.
