I was so excited to see someone wrote for this challenge which *mumbles* I kind of wrote in haste just to get the newsletter out. >.< As always, the humor that pervades your writing is so welcome and nicely done as ever. This line made me laugh out loud: "Every year I got taller and bigger and hairer and hungrier." Your use of a modern voice works well too; I wanted to see Loswen in a gingham dress with a cast iron skillet and Annael lounging back in a pair of overalls. :)
