"Such is the teaching of the firstborn, he thought to himself. They learn in riddles, lest they believe themselves wise too soon."...that was so very, very Elvish. It reminded me of Gildor in the LOTR. The way you wrote Galadriel was also amazing. I wish I had someting more intellegent to say honestly, but I don't seem to have the talent today. It was a beautiful story, though. I never appreciated the "And so the Silmarils found their long homes" bit as particularly beautiful before but somehow the mental image of them dancing and singing and finding an understanding made it very much so.
