This story is wonderful!!

I love all the characterization; everyone seems so three dimensional and real. Celeborn especially. I like the way you write his friendship with Daeron and with Finrod. The scene where he and Finrod talk after Galadriel turns him down is escpecially poignant, I think. This line was just perfect:

"He put the twig into Finrod's hands. "My children will be breakable as a willow twig. So you have said. Then break it.""

I  also really like the scene where he and Galadriel first talk together. It's very witty, on both their parts!

Speaking of Galadriel, I love her characterization, too. Her reaction to finding out Celeborn's feelings for her was done so well. Galadriel's perception of Celeborn's feelings, and her own, as threatening seemed very realistic to me, given her personality and past experiences.

This was a really great look into how all these events looked from the Sindar perspective. I liked seeing Thingol as friendly and paternal, too.

Haha, this wasn't a very coherent review, I'm afraid....anyway, I really enjoyed reading this story, and especially your depiction of Celeborn!
