Summary:

Maitimo and Findekano in Valinor during the time of the Two Trees when they are first realizing their feelings for each other. Mutual pining, both painfully oblivious to each other's true feelings. Maitimo is helping Findekano study for his upcoming examinations and they naturally are spending an significant amount of time alone together which brings their repressed feelings for each other further to the fore. They have support from an unexpected source.

I did not want this to end! What a lovely story. I loved the camaraderie between them and then the larger context (in which we completely agree) of the cultural acceptance of homosexuality in Cuivinen. (I won't pretend it isn't fun to see elements of my own worldbuilding in someone else's imagination either! :D How published authors resent fanfic I'll never know ...)

Thank you! Pining Maedhros and Fingon are dear to me. I do love writing them at this stage. I might end up expanding on this story.
