May I say Celebrimbor has no sense of self preservation?

He could have since Númenor and Ost-in-Edhil had commercial relationships. Of course, this would only be possible if Sauron had used a different face in Númenor than he had as in Annatar - which I think he did. But yes, this is an AU where Númenor fell first, so Sauron "returns" from Númenor as a wolf and casually? meets Celebrimbor again - who, in turn, cares two shits if he lives or dies, because his heart was bare </3 haha thanks for the comment, Cal! <3
