As I told you in email, this is a beautiful and elegantly written piece. I love the imagery of "dissecting flower petals" and the later parallel with the mistletoe, a symbol from our own culture and very appropriate here as well.

I thank you for sharing this and am glad that I discovered it through Seven in '07. Which so far has been yet another reminder of how I must set aside time to read more. :)
