Originally posted to AO3 on August 3, 2017. Title from Lekha Dodi, which together with some Ashkenazi conceptions of the Sabbath Queen was absolutely what inspired this fic. A somewhat loose translation of "sof maʿaseh b'maḥashavah teḥilah" / "סוף מעשה במחשבה תחלה."
