I enjoyed the worldbuilding here, the contest as a part of the harvest ritual. Also, the use of name Tauron for Orome felt authentic here. Loved the ending with the surprise winner, and Thranduil himself didn’t seem to mind a lot, either.

This was a beautiful bit of worldbuilding! <3 I love Thranduil leading the festival as a stand-in for Orome, and all the details of the festival traditions.

Also aww, poor little Legolas, being scared by how different his father looks!
