I do love an Andreth who gives clueless Finrod what for! This is a tiny delight. :)

Andreth was trained as a wise woman, and she's said some what I thought when I read the Athrabeth for the first time. Love it. 💜

Go, Andreth! I hope Aegnor welcomes her with open arms and a great sigh of relief.

(This somehow reminded me of this moving poem by Mark McDonnell, Return to Ithaca, which I read recently, although the situation is of course completely different.)

Oh, this is wonderful. I said 'Ha!' very loudly when reading it, and made my cat jump! Andreth taking matters into her own hands, quite rightly, and Finrod (who I generally love so much) left speechless. Excellent! I love the titles, too.

I read the Athrabeth and decided that Andreth was far too centered and wise to let a little thing like pity get in the way of true love. 

Hah!
