On the Way Home
(*covering my ears and furiously imagining a universe where Túrin is happy*) Alternate timeline where Beren and Lúthien come back to visit Doriath after the quest for the Silmaril, and Lúthien gets to hang out with her adoptive baby brother Túrin. Here, Túrin twisted his ankle in the woods and Lúthien is carrying him home. Beren is giving moral support.
I did my timeline math on the back of an envelope, but I think Beren is in his mid-40s and Túrin about 9 or 10. (Dior is 4-5ish, and he’s being spoiled babysat by Grandpa Thingol and Granny Melian back in Menegroth.)
