About Me
40-something wife and mother of five, executive secretary, fanfic writer who is also interested in textile arts such as spinning, weaving, lacemaking, knitting and crocheting, which sometimes will show up in my fics as hobbies or jobs that my characters do. I first read Tolkien when I was 10 years old and my father gave me the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings for my birthday. I got the Silmarillion back when it was first published but since I was a teenager with other things on my mind, I really never got into it back then. I finally read the entire thing about two or three years ago and fell in love with it, and am beginning to write fics based upon events that took place therein.
