I LOVE YOU. AND I HATE YOU. AND BOTH EQUALLY.

It's a scene I wished to read forever, it's something I wanted to read basically ALL MY LIFE, yet i dreaded the moment when something alike would show up on my dash/email/whereever.

It's wonderfully written - it's heartbreaking, horribly so, and it shows all their sorrows, dreams, worries, emotions in just so little words.

Eep, poor Fingon.

Not only is his dad riding off to his death, he was left with the entirely uncomforting parting words that it won't be long before it's his turn.

This is intense and heartbreaking and I love every word.

This is so well told. All of it. But I was particularly struck by your description of the final fates of Aegnor and Angrod and their effect on Fingolfin. 

I knew what was coming and yet Fingolfin's decision was still a stab wound to the gut. Very well done!
