And again, thank you. :D And I see your point, though I do think both ideas can be merged easily - Círdan established the Havens, but I like to think that Elwing did play an important role as their lady (mostly singlehandedly while Eärendil was at sea), and as per the story especially with reconciling all the different people coming down Sirion into a single population. :)
