It has been said that character is fate, and this certainly holds true for Beleg, whose single-minded focus leads him straight to his Doom.
Warning: Although this story follows that of the Narn I Hin Hurin very closely, I suspect that Beleg's character, at least, is slightly AU. Also, there are slashy themes here, even if the whole is very, very LACE-compliant.
