And land’s decay.

From my face,
To your place,

Stricken far,

At the close,

Fade to grey,

Haunted glade,
Beneath the moon,
Words of omen,
Breathe black doom.
Here you’ll find,
My grassy bed,
My body cold,
My spirit dead.
Do not mourn.
Do not weep,
For the sorrows,
And my sleep.
Cary on,
To the end.
Best the dragon,
Round the bend.
Darkened roads,
Dimly loom,
Gentle silence,
Forest room.
Here you’ll find,
Me lying long,
Humming softly,
In her song.
