Written for B2MeM 2015 with the prompts: Fingon/Maedhros, soulmate-identifying marks AU and Fingon/Mrs. Fingon/Maedhros. Not exactly the most obvious of matches, but I hope it worked with only mild levels of trainwreck. Originally, I conceived it as a longer story (with an introduction to baby Erien and post-Nírnaeth Arnoediad capper, but I ran out of time.) Thank you to my faithful beta, Elleth! All remaining mistakes, & etc.

THis is both lovely and of course,sad but it has a happy ending... for now at least.  Gwendis brings a truly delightful lightness- she is lovely and i really enjoyed the much more prosaic relationship between her and Fingon! The whole notion of the mark is very interesting and adds a delicious angst to the earleir parts that turns tragic later of course- Maedhros is such a tragic and epic character that no story that he appears in can ever be free of tragedy. Very enjoyable read.
