Wow, I loved this! Your description of both Maedhros' body and his feelings about it were very vivid and realistic, and I loved Fingon's insistence that he was still beautiful and that he still loves him. 

The way you wrote Maedhros' point of view was great, I don't know quite how to describe it... sort of how detached he was from everything, the title applying to more than just his ability to feel physical sensations? I don't know, I just really liked the voice you created for him.

And the end - that last line was absolutely perfect :)
