[Inspiration] The original idea for this fic came one day late at night whilst listening to one of my favorite bands, 'Eisregen', and their song 'Wundwasser' - and the lyrics together with Silverfisting as ship simply would not leave me anymore, so here we are, and therefore the title of this story. In this song, they basically use body fluids as artist's paint and the body as canvas. The lyrics are originally in German, I translated some parts into English and used it throughout this fic. Additionally, Sins of Our Fathers, theeventualwinner's most wonderful fic of Celebrimbor and Annatar was certainly a major inspiration for this little story, especially the alchemy part – I love this work of art to pieces. Summary: Annatar likes to paint, but not with ordinary artist's colors. His medium of choice is blood and other bodily fluids, using naked skin as canvas; and now, he is his own master and can do with his captives as he pleases. This is a sick and disturbing snippet of Celebrimbor's suffering in Annatar's hands shortly after his capture and before his death.
