Written for the Not Prime Time exchange 2014. The prompt requested a meeting between Finrod and Thranduil: “I'd especially love something that deals with the "magic" as it is in Tolkien's work that both possess, Finrod with his song of power, Thranduil and the magic river. Maybe once, Finrod sang a song of power for Thranduil in a confrontation that goes quite a different way than his confrontation with Sauron?”
