This piece is part of a larger story, but I hope it can stand on it's own. It is set sometime in the middle of the Siege of Angband.

I like this scene!

It is a lovely glimpse of a journey to Vinyamar and of what the Sea now means to Fingon.

Also, I like the suggestion that there was a connection between the gold in his hair and his mother name and how you put it.

I would like to see the longer story.
