Written for the Silmarillion Writers Guild Block Party challenge, April 19th prompt 'Legendarium Ladies April'. I chose LLA day 3, Women at their Jobs, though this has wandered somewhat from there. It also fits the Block Party May 9th prompt 'Moms'. Posted on AO3 here.

The first drabble, which set the atmosphere for the set, was prompted by Morgynleri with: Fingolfin, Fragile, Place.

Not surprised that Fingon arrived into the world alert and ready to live. 

As a mother and grandmother I have noticed that babies usually show elements of their personalities from the moment they are born.

Love Nolofinwe's instant bonding. That occurs often also but not universally.

Cracked up at the idea of a Maia midwife. Only the best for the King's grandchild. Love Nerdanel there for support also.
