I liked the words you chose to describe Tuor's initial reaction to his "beautiful" son: "...like an angrily red dried grape with an oddly shapen head."

I also liked how you presented elf women during childbirth--not too different from the Second-born.  The "feminist" debate between Tuor and Idril was also good.

Hahaha can you tell I rarely found newborn babies beautiful back then? Mine weren't born and I will admit that my oldest (now 5) was a truly beautiful baby even as newborn, his poor sister though...she was not, took her a good 6 montsh to get cute ;)

Heh I decided that really the technicalities in childbirth between elf women and the second born must be rather similar :) Thank you very muhc for the review
