Originally written for the November challenge "elegy" at tolkienshortfanworks, here interpreted as "lament for the dead", however short.

Warnings for grief/mourning, allusion to canonical death (suicide), and, generally, the aftermath of the Nirnaeth Arnoediad in Dor-lomin.
